Founded in 1973, FADVS is comprised of leaders who oversee volunteers in Florida’s Healthcare settings. Whether you’re a new or seasoned healthcare volunteer leader, FADVS offers knowledge and expertise from our volunteer professional membership.
2021 FADVS President Gerry Sanabria, Manager Volunteer Services, AdventHealth | The volunteer profession has gone through creative changes in the last year thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are not done with those changes nor are we done with our creativity. Our hats have been constantly changing as we get asked to do more and more and in some cases with a little less. But we do not have to do it alone. We are here to support each other and learn from each other, to lean on each other as volunteer professionals. At a time when we are forced to be apart, we have the resources through FADVS to stay connected. I hope you will join me in taking advantage of this resource.
